Bruiser has been an inspiration

I've created this blog last year for my Technology class and forgot about it but here comes along my best friend and she starts a blog and has been working on it for a few days. It got me thinking & I decided to get back into my account. I'm using it this time as a journal because I'm too lazy to hand write it and this way I can press "delete" if I make mistake. A win-win situation indeed.

One Month Away
I'm starting my Observation and Practium (O&P) in September and after meeting my cooperating teacher (CT) I'm less excited and more nervous then I have been back in May. Julie's classroom is beautiful: standards/benchmarks on the walls, colors and artwork everywhere, paperwork in the cubby holes, books and toys in the corner and desks. So many little desks. I told her that I'm excited for teaching 1st grade because that is my dream grade once I have my own classroom and she is more then helpful to give me ideas, binders, information to teach these 6-7 year olds. I hope I can be someone that they can look up to, go to for guidance and most importantly, someone that they can trust


Four Months Away
I get more and more excited as the days and months get shorter to where I'll be married to my best friend. When I look at him I see perfect. Perfect for me. I still don't understand why he chose me and why he loves me so much but I have a lifetime to figure it out. I look forward to the day when I can join the motherhood club but not till after I join the wifehood first.


Eight Months Away
After putting that ring on my finger, I'll be glad to put that black cap on my head. The symbol of graduating. I can almost feel it now; the excitment of grabbing that diploma indicating that I did it. I graduated! But as I imagine this scene I am grateful that I'm still in the comfort and surroundings of college. I am not ready to leave and I am sure not ready to graduate. Give me a month or two when I'm in the field of teaching and I'm sure I'll change my mind.
